At USC:
Having collected numerous personal accolades, Nana Gagatsovi brings her determined style to the Women of Troy as she enters her second third in the USC program... in 2007, rowing from the No. 5 seat most of the year and then from the No. 7 seat for the Pac-10 and NCAA Championships, helped the JV Eight capture the Jackie Ann Stitt Hungness Trophy at the 2007 San Diego Crew Classic... her efforts also helped the JV Eight to a bronze medal third place finish at the Pac-10 Championships and the first Pac-10 Conference team championship for the Trojans... contributed to a top finish at the NCAA Championship petite final for seventh place overall... bronze medal winner in doubles at the 2006 Head of the American Regatta, also helping her boat to a silver medal finish in the fours.
Rowing Highlights:
Gagatsovi has been rowing since the age of 16, amassing an impressive array of awards in solo sculling events... a six time Russian Junior Sculling Champion (1999-2004)... the 2001 World Junior Champion... placed first and third in separate events at the 2004 Junior International Friendship Regatta in Lithuania... took second place at the 2004 World Championship U23 Regatta in Belgzad, Yugoslavia.
