Senior outside hitter Juan Figueroa was named an Asics/Volleyball Magazine All-American second teamer for the second consecutive year, while freshman outside hitter Murphy Troy made Asics/Volleyball Magazine All-American honorable mention.

Figueroa, a 4-year starter, led USC in kills (450), was second in digs (178) and aces (21) and fourth in blocks (69) in 2008. He made the All-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation third team for the second consecutive season in 2008. In his career, he had 1,627 kills (a USC rally scoring era career record), 615 digs, 229 blocks and 71 aces.

Troy, also a 2008 All-MPSF third teamer, topped USC in aces (35), is second in kills (430) and third in digs (144) this past season.
