USC men's volleyball head coach Bill Ferguson is hosting an advanced skill volleyball camp designed for boys between the ages of 14 to 18 seeking to maximize their potential in all areas of the game on Aug. 1-3 at USC's Galen Center.
 

Dates:
August 1-3
• Check In -- 9 a.m., Aug. 1, South Entrance of The Galen Center
• Check Out -- 5 p.m., Aug. 3, South Entrance of The Galen Center
Aug. 1 - Morning/Afternoon/Evening Sessions
Aug. 2 - Morning/Afternoon/Evening Sessions
Aug. 3 - Morning/Afternoon/½ Evening Sessions

Overview:
Bill Ferguson's Southern California Elite Boys Volleyball Camp is an advanced skill camp designed for boys between the ages of 14 to 18 seeking to maximize their potential in all areas of the game. While the camp is open to everyone, one year of club volleyball experience is preferred.

Bill Ferguson's Elite Camp offers:
• Top quality instruction from the collegiate coaching staff.
• Dormitory housing on campus along with meals.
• 6 hours of daily instruction/play, including use and tours of the new state-of-the-art Galen Center facilities.
• Elite level, all skills, and individual skill instruction.
• Instructor/camper ratio - 1/10
• During drills, players are grouped by position, age and ability in order to get maximum results.

Costs:
Resident Campers: $545
Day Camper (8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.): $445

Sample Daily Schedule:
Morning:
7-8 a.m. - Wake up/Breakfast
8:30-9:30 a.m. - Ball control circuit/Practicing individual skill set
9:30-11:30 a.m. - Individual stations for specific skills (passing, setting, hitting), rotate every 40 minutes/Galen tours
Afternoon:
Noon-1 p.m. - Lunch/Rest
1-1:30 p.m. - Warm-up/Demos
1:30-2:30 p.m. - Stations: passing, blocking, hitting, digging, transition
2:30-4:30 p.m. - Game scenario drills/Wash drills and 6 vs. 6 competitions
Evening:
5-6 p.m. - Dinner/Rest
6-7 p.m. - Video session/Game film
7-8 p.m. - Individual skill set (serving = Jump floats, jump serves, standing floats)
8-9 p.m. - Games/Scrimmages
9-10:15 p.m. - Campers to rooms/clean up
10:30 p.m. - Lights out
