He had 356 kills, 63 aces and 112 digs in 2000 while averaging 20.9 kills, 3.7 aces, 6.6 digs and 3.5 blocks per match despite playing most of the season with a strained lower back ... As a junior, he made the 1999 All-Bay League first team and South Bay Daily Breeze All-South Bay second team while notching 149 kills, 118 digs, 101 blocks and 55 aces ...
