USC junior Tom Glissmeyer was named a 2008 Pac-10 All-Academic second team selection, the Pac-10 announced on Wednesday (June 4).

Glissmeyer is a 2008 All-Pac-10 second teamer (and was a 2007 All-Pac-10 honorable mention selection). He had three consecutive top 6 finishes (he never had back -to-back top 10 marks before this run) for the first time as a Trojan, including back-to-back ties for sixth at the NCAA Championships West Regional (72-71-70-213) and the Pac-10 Championships (69-75-72-68-284,) as well as a tie for second at the U.S. Intercollegiate on April 20.

At the Intercollegiate, he fired a 208 (66-73-69), his first round his USC best. He had five rounds in the 60s this year. He was ranked 41st in the country this season.
